Asilak
Spaced Repetition
“Asilak” (асілак) is Belarusian for a strongman — the folk-tale kind.
A study app that brings each card back just before you would have forgotten it.
About the app
Not a game, and it does not pretend to be one: no streaks, no points, no lives to lose — only what is genuinely due today. You pick what you are learning, whether that is a language, an exam, an instrument or the names of things, and Asilak decides when you next see each card.
What makes it good
- Times every review for you — scheduling by FSRS, with nothing to configure.
- Takes what you already have — an Anki collection arrives with its review history intact, and Quizlet or CSV decks import too.
- Works offline and keeps your cards on your device; syncing to your own other devices is end-to-end encrypted.
- Free for 30 days, then one purchase that covers every platform. No subscription, no ads, no account.
