Privacy

Kupalinka makes small games that respect the people who play them. The short version: we don't ask who you are, and we don't collect your personal data. There's nothing to sign up for, and nothing about you to sell. This page explains that in full.
No accounts, no sign-in
Our games have no login, no user accounts, and no profiles. You can play without giving us a name, an email, a phone number, or any other identifier.
No personal data collected
We do not collect, store, or share personal information about you. We don't build advertising profiles, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
Your progress stays on your device
Things like your daily streak, settings, and in-game preferences are saved locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, that local data goes with it.
No ads, no third-party tracking
Our games contain no advertising and no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising networks, social-media pixels, session recording, or heatmaps, and nothing follows you from one app or website to another. Nobody is watching what you tap in order to market to you.
Our web games do keep a simple count of how many people play them, using our own counter on our own domain. It is described in full below, it stores nothing on your device, and it can be switched off.
Anonymous crash & error diagnostics
So we can find and fix problems, our games can send anonymous crash and error reports through Sentry, a third-party error-monitoring service. These reports describe the technical failure — for example the device model, operating-system version, and where in our code the error happened — so we can repair it. They are not tied to your identity and are used only to keep the games working.
Anonymous visit counts on our web games
Our browser games — such as vodar.kupalinka.app — count visits so we know whether anyone is playing, and whether a change made things better or worse. This is a plain headcount, not a study of you.
What is recorded, per visit:
- which game the page belongs to;
- that a page was opened, and roughly how long it stayed open and visible;
- the country the request came from, as our hosting provider reports it;
- the website that linked you here, if any — the site name only, never the full address.
What is not recorded is the important part. No cookies. No identifier of any kind — not a visitor ID, not a session ID, not a fingerprint of your device or browser. Your IP address is never stored, and it is never converted into a code that could stand in for you. Nothing about your play is sent: not the puzzle, not your guesses, not whether you solved it.
Because no identifier exists, these records cannot be linked to you, linked to each other, or linked across visits, days, games or websites — by us or by anyone else. They are counts, and counts are all they can ever become. They are handled by our own service on our own domain, are not shared with or sold to anyone, and are deleted automatically after three months.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interest: knowing roughly how many people use something we made, in the least intrusive way we could find. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, this needs no cookie banner — there is genuinely nothing to consent to.
You can switch it off. Open the settings dialog in any of our web games and set Usage stats to Off. We also honour Global Privacy Control and "Do Not Track" automatically: if your browser sends either signal, nothing is counted and the setting shows as off. Our mobile apps contain no such counting at all.
This website
This site — kupalinka.app itself — is a static marketing site with no analytics and no tracking cookies at all. The visit counting described above applies only to the game sites, never here. If you use the contact form, your message is delivered to us through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, purely so we can read and reply to it. We use what you send only to respond to you, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
Suitable for all ages
Because we collect no personal data and show no ads, our games are suitable for players of all ages, including children.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
